Your duties |
- Testing and characterization of high power diode laser arrays.
Characterization and reliability studies.
- Plan, carry out, analyze and document experiments on diode lasers
- Support work of research scientists at TRUMPF Photonics
- Develop and implement test procedures
- Work comprises experimental work in lab environment, theoretical studies and analytical work with different software packages
- Typical work fields are: Diode laser specification, reliability studies, process improvement, experimental set-ups, support of wafer fabrication and epitaxy

Experiences and Education |
The ideal applicant would have a strong experimental background in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Optics. It is possible to perform this work as part of the BS diploma (Diplomarbeit).
Experience with software packages like Visual Basic, Origin, Labview, are helpful. Experimental or theoretical knowledge in diode laser technology is helpful but not required.
Background in Lasers and/or Optics is a plus.
Good communication skills and creativity are essential.
Analytic skills and thoroughness required. |
